Whether you\u2019re a knife geek or want to sharpen your dull knife, this class has something to offer to everyone.<\/p>\n<p>Class Location: Our Store<br \/>\n7138 W Higgins Ave, Chicago, IL 60656<\/p>\n<p>*Our classes will be limited to 4-5 students<\/p>\n<p>What to expect..<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn to sharpen knives step-by-step on a whetstone<\/li>\n<li>Sharpening stone prep and care<\/li>\n<li>Proper form and stance<\/li>\n<li>How to establish angles and bevels<\/li>\n<li>Proper steeling techniques<\/li>\n<li>What &#8220;sharp&#8221; means<\/li>\n<li>Class will run approximately 2 hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Majority of class time will be the hands-on knife-sharpening lesson, so come ready to roll up your sleeves! Please wear clothes you don\u2019t mind getting dirty or bring your own apron.\u00a0Close-toed shoes are required.<\/p>\n<p>You will need to provide your own knife for the class. A Chefs knife or Santoku is best for learning. Consider bringing an older knife to practicing with. We will provide the sharpening stones and tools.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the class you will get the opportunity to shop our store. You will receive a 10% discount on any purchase made the day of your class.<\/p>\n<p><em>A 24 hour notice of cancellation is required for a full refund.
